Our Story
Face to Face, LLC was founded by Dr. Nestor H. Praderio in the fall of 2007 with a mission to provide education, resources, and relief for caregivers and their families. Since then, we have grown to become a pivotal resource for the Coastal Bend community, offering essential support for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

About Nestor H. Praderio, MD
Nestor H. Praderio, MD, has dedicated over 30 years of service to the Coastal Bend community, celebrating this milestone in August 2024.
Born and raised in Argentina, he graduated from the University of La Plata and completed his psychiatry residency at Connecticut Valley Hospital, affiliated with Yale University.
Dr. Praderio’s commitment to dementia care is evident in his roles:
Founder and President of Face to Face, leading initiatives to support caregivers and families affected by dementia through essential programs and community events.
Medical Director at Comprehensive Behavioral and Health Care, applying his expertise in Geriatric Psychiatry.
Former President of the Geropsychiatric Unit at Christus Spohn Hospital System, advancing care for elderly patients.
Dr. Praderio is also:
A Diplomate of the American Psychiatric Association in Neurology and Geriatric Psychiatry.
A Distinguished Fellow recognized for his significant contributions to the field.
His dedication extends to consulting long-term care facilities in South Texas and organizing impactful annual events such as the Family & Friends Caregiver Conference, Healthy Aging Forum, and the Coastal Bend Walk for Memory.
Dr. Praderio is profoundly committed to serving the Spanish-speaking and Latino community. This dedication is reflected in our bilingual programs and resources, including the annual Cara a Cara event, which celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month and ensures that Spanish-speaking caregivers receive essential support.
Dr. Praderio’s leadership and vision have made a significant impact on the Coastal Bend community, and beyond. His unwavering commitment continues to inspire and improve the lives of those facing the challenges of dementia.

Fundraising: Activities that generate resources for respite care services, providing caregivers with necessary breaks.
Bilingual and Spanish Programs
We are committed to serving our Spanish-speaking community through a range of bilingual programs and resources. One of our key initiatives is the annual Cara a Cara event, held in commemoration of Hispanic Heritage Month. This event, along with our other Spanish-language programs, ensures that all caregivers have access to the essential support and information they need, regardless of their language or cultural background.
